  • •Provide technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, and enhancement of network products, programs, and systems
  • •Offer onsite technical support to St. Julien's Creek Annex and review project documents with technical review comments
  • •Create IDPS based on IRD and site surveys, and initiate/evaluate engineering change requests (ECRs)
  • •Evaluate and troubleshoot LAN architecture, resolving network traffic flow issues across complex multi-node tactical WAN/LAN environments
  • •Develop integrated Naval enterprise logical/physical LAN architectures and create/modify/troubleshoot firewall rules and configurations, including test strategies and documented results

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of related experience supporting Navy ADNS and secure/non-secure networks afloat and/or ashore
  • •Practical knowledge of Cisco routing and switching (routing protocols, VLANs/VLAN trunking, subnetting, ACLs, 802.1X NAC, Secure Group Tagging)
  • •Working knowledge of the Navy’s FRCB process and DISA network operations and circuit provisioning/troubleshooting
  • •BS degree or equivalent experience
  • •TS/SCI clearance (must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI) and required certifications: CCNA, Linux+, Network+, Security+
