Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise plant operations during off-shifts, ensuring safety, health, and environmental practices are followed and that ISO and company standards are met.
  • •Lead teams to improve performance and process quality, achieve company goals, and maintain a positive pressroom presence supporting other departments as needed.
  • •Ensure job quality by reviewing work for quality and accuracy, monitoring and directing quality documentation and testing, and isolating non-conforming material.
  • •Serve as Off Shift Emergency Shift Coordinator, act as EHS agent when needed, and ensure employee protection during emergencies and safe equipment operation.
  • •Operate press equipment, troubleshoot and monitor press operations, coordinate make-ready and press adjustments, and lead preventative maintenance, employee evaluations, and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) with a minimum of 10 years in the printing industry and 5 years of proven leadership experience.
  • •Proven experience coaching, leading, and coordinating team activities including problem solving, communications, meetings, and team development.
  • •Demonstrated safety skills and ability to apply safety practices and procedures.
  • •Ability to perform physical demands including lifting up to 60 lbs and working prolonged periods in production environments.
  • •Ability to rotate shifts and be available for extended hours as needed to meet customer product needs.
