Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and lead the People Ops team, hiring, coaching, and organizing country and specialty ownership with backup coverage.
  • •Own core people processes end-to-end across France, Spain, and the US: payroll, contracts, benefits, time off, and onboarding/offboarding administration.
  • •Anticipate scale by building country playbooks and reliable workforce reporting to support planning and reviews.
  • •Own HRIS and people data as a single source of truth, automating processes with AI and BizOps support while improving employee-facing experience.
  • •Ensure compliance with French and Spanish labor law, partnering with Legal and external counsel and keeping documentation audit-ready.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in People Operations or HR, including several years managing a team, in high-growth tech startups or scale-ups.
  • •Experience standing up or rebuilding a People Ops function, not only running one already established.
  • •Deep command of French payroll and labor law; exposure to Spanish or US employment matters is a plus.
  • •Owned an HRIS and people data, designing processes that scale with strong data quality.
  • •Fluent in French and English; Spanish is a plus, with AI tools used daily in your own work.
