Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform advanced diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of Lucid and engineering test vehicles.
  • •Investigate complex vehicle concerns and support concern replication, failure analysis, vehicle inspection, and root-cause investigations.
  • •Collect and analyze diagnostic data (logs, fault codes, measurements, and evidence) and document findings with recommended next steps.
  • •Support Field Quality Engineers with structured root-cause analysis, validation of corrective actions, engineering changes, and software releases.
  • •Operate diagnostic and power tools safely, maintain a clean workspace, and assist with road tests and functional evaluations to confirm repair effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED, plus an automotive technician degree, certification, or equivalent work experience.
  • •5+ years of automotive diagnostic, repair, quality, testing, or technical investigation experience.
  • •Strong understanding of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems and diagnostic methodologies.
  • •Experience diagnosing complex vehicle concerns using scan tools, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related diagnostic equipment.
  • •Knowledge of electric vehicle architecture (High Voltage/Low Voltage) and ability to interpret wiring diagrams, service information, engineering drawings, and technical procedures.
