Job Summary

Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal support for VF’s corporate activities across EMEA, with labor & employment (L&E) as a primary cross-cutting accountability. Coordinate and govern regional L&E advice with HR and stakeholders, monitor employment and corporate governance risks, oversee key corporate contracts, and partner with Legal Ops to maintain compliance tools. Report to regional and global leadership and support training and committee engagement to drive compliant, timely outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and coordinate cross-cutting L&E advice across the EMEA region in partnership with HR, translating employment risk into clear business actions.
•Establish and maintain an L&E governance framework, including escalation pathways, playbooks/templates, decision logs, and coordination of external employment counsel.
•Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate structuring, labor and employment, and corporate strategy, including monitoring legal nuances affecting governance and transactions.
•Supervise the creation, negotiation, and conclusion of key corporate contracts (including real estate, sourcing, and employment) to mitigate legal exposure.
•Collaborate with Legal Ops to develop compliance tools and procedures; deliver training and reports to regional and global leadership, and engage in committees as needed.

Key Requirements

•10-12 years of corporate legal experience in multicultural environments with strong labor & employment expertise, ideally with a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
•A Juris Doctor or master’s degree in law.
•Deep knowledge of corporate legal matters including contracts, stakeholder relations, regulatory adherence, and protecting intellectual property rights for consumer brands.
•Strong understanding of corporate legal landscape: compliance, litigation, risk management, and corporate governance.
•Ability to establish scalable systems and processes, plus demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial oversight.
