Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct application security assessments (web, mobile, API) or network penetration testing (external and internal) using off-the-shelf or internally developed tools.
  • •Execute manual testing for advanced attacks and vulnerability assessments.
  • •Produce professional security assessment reports detailing vulnerability and exploit information.
  • •Lead client-facing calls from project kick-off through notification of high/critical findings and close-out review with remediation recommendations.
  • •Research new threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits and perform other essential duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4+ years of experience with penetration testing.
  • •Minimum 4+ years with at least one of: Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, or Burp Suite.
  • •Offensive certifications such as CEH, WAPT, GPEN, GWAPT, GAWN, OSCP, etc.
  • •Typically requires 6+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5+ years with a Master’s; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
  • •Desirable: knowledge of NetSparker and AppScan, and understanding of TCP/IP and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
