Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safe operating practices and procedures.
  • •Independently determine parts required per job and coordinate with the Shop Parts Department.
  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections, plus follow-up repairs in a shop environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair trailer equipment and systems (including brakes, air lines, auxiliary pumps/engines, liftgates, steering, welding, fabrication, and body/framework).
  • •Complete and document DOT forms and repair orders, including uploading required photos and findings using company issued devices/applications.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field (or equivalent combination of education/certification and 3+ years experience, or 7 years experience).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary for required job duties.
  • •Participate in and complete all-in company required training.
  • •Due to interstate operating authority commerce regulations, candidates must be at least 21 years or older.
  • •Obtain/hold required certifications within the required timeframe (ASE T8 (PMI) and ASE 608/609).
