Job Summary

Ensure each shift complies with HSE regulations while keeping production machines running smoothly to meet quality, quantity, and delivery targets. Manage and execute production activities, inventory, process orders, KPIs, and documentation, and drive continuous improvement through LEAN, 5S, and scrap/off-spec reduction. Train teams, maintain line conditions and SOP adherence, coordinate with Logistics/QA, and support maintenance and CAPEX/debottlenecking activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure daily shift operations comply with HSE rules, including proper PPE use, near-miss reporting, and Behaviour Based Safety to support Goal Zero.
•Manage production activities to meet customer quality, quantity, and delivery targets, including adherence to PPDS and line processing conditions/SOP.
•Maintain and improve individual and departmental KPIs, execute process orders, manage inventory, and keep documentation reporting accurate.
•Lead safe execution of changeovers, provide team training using the skill matrix, and support reduction of scrap and off-spec generation (including RCA/corrective actions).
•Support equipment upkeep and maintenance, material handling, packaging/labeling, coordination with Logistics and QA, and uphold standards such as ISO 9001/14001, GMP, and confidentiality per policy.

Key Requirements

•Diploma/Degree in Plastic Technology or Plastic Processing & Testing.
•7 to 9 years’ experience in color masterbatch or compounding industry with hands-on extrusion line experience.
•Knowledge of extruder operations, troubleshooting, and process/product corrections and adjustments.
•Experience operating feeders and environment control equipment such as DCS/FES, plus utility knowledge.
•Ability to work with SAP (including common T-code knowledge), MS Office, and basic English.
