Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance tasks, including total cabin maintenance, ensuring systems and passenger facilities meet safety and quality standards.
  • •Support safe and efficient flight operations by completing maintenance activities in line with required procedures, including fluid replenishment, refuelling, and system changes.
  • •Liaise with the Maintenance Control Centre in Dubai and other stakeholders to manage technical issues, resolve defects, and support on-time dispatch.
  • •Supervise Aircraft Technicians to ensure maintenance is delivered safely, efficiently, and to schedule, while promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
  • •Assist with station administration (materials, equipment handling, and maintenance documentation) and support aircraft on ground recovery activity when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a qualified Licensed Aircraft Engineer with an Airbus A380 type rating and at least one additional Emirates aircraft type rating (ideally Airbus A350 or Boeing 777).
  • •Have at least five years’ experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer with strong working knowledge of aviation legislation, regulatory requirements, and aircraft maintenance procedures.
  • •Be eligible to obtain and maintain an airport pass and airside driving permit for Manchester Airport (DBS and a five-year history check).
  • •Have a strong working knowledge of applicable aviation legislation and aircraft maintenance procedures in an operational environment.
  • •Be willing to supervise Aircraft Technicians and support maintenance delivery safely, efficiently, and to schedule.
