  • •Create satellite network solutions for commercial pursuits from pre-sales through deal closure and beyond.
  • •Model and analyze satellite networks and optimize high-throughput satellite networks by trading network parameters from design to operation.
  • •Coordinate satellite communications configuration including payload, orbital slot selection, spectrum/frequency planning, antenna optimization, and coverage definition.
  • •Dimension ground solutions by selecting user terminals, gateways, and remote earth stations; support hub and network operations.
  • •Communicate designs and reports externally as solutions/sales engineers and support internal development, regulatory efforts, and recruiting.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in satellite communications with High Throughput Satellite (HTS) systems for LEO, MEO, or GEO, including ground, hub, and network systems.
  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent background).
  • •Link budgeting/link analysis experience and ability to model and analyze satellite networks using in-house software.
  • •Experience with regulatory affairs for space-based communications networks and spectrum coordination (e.g., FCC, ITU).
  • •Scripting language experience in Python (preferred), MATLAB, R, Julia, C++, or similar for analysis and trade studies.
