Job Summary

Lead mechanical design and development for electromechanical products from concept through qualification and production release. Own technical deliverables, engineering quality, and program execution while making design decisions that balance performance, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and schedule. Work with cross-functional teams to manage technical risks, drive DFMEA, support validation and launch, and create/review CAD models, drawings, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently lead mechanical design and development for electromechanical products from concept through qualification and production release.
•Own technical deliverables, engineering quality, and execution of assigned product development programs.
•Drive product architecture and technical problem solving while balancing performance, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and schedule.
•Perform concept generation, trade studies, detailed design, tolerance analysis, and technical risk assessments.
•Lead DFMEA activities and manage launch execution by working with simulation, validation, quality, sourcing, manufacturing, and suppliers; perform investigations and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

•B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
•8–10 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
•Proven experience leading New Product Development programs.
•Strong experience in electromechanical product design and mechanical packaging.
•Proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric and experience with Teamcenter (or equivalent PLM/PDM systems).
