Big Data Engineer, Ecommerce Recommendation Infrastructure (ByteDance Singapore)

Build and optimize infrastructure for large-scale ecommerce recommendation systems, covering offline data architecture, high-performance storage and computing, and online service reliability. You’ll troubleshoot production systems, reduce bottlenecks and cost overhead, and create distributed data/service mid-platform capabilities. Work with applied machine learning engineers to develop analytics and data mining pipelines that turn structured and unstructured data into actionable insights, including reporting and visualization.
