Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the safe, compliant, and effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services across the contract.
  • •Coordinate day-to-day service delivery, ensuring suitably qualified operatives are deployed with the correct equipment, skills, and authorisations.
  • •Oversee safe systems of work, review risk assessments and method statements, and ensure activity is accurately recorded in the CAFM system.
  • •Act as key point of contact for Defence Infrastructure Organisation representatives and internal stakeholders, supporting resolution of operational issues and complaints.
  • •Manage small billable works, including producing rough orders of cost, while balancing operational priorities with commercial awareness and safety culture.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading planned and reactive maintenance service delivery, ideally including responsibility for small project delivery.
  • •HNC (or equivalent) in a building, civil, electrical, or mechanical discipline.
  • •Management-level Health & Safety qualification such as SMSTS.
  • •Strong IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.
  • •Comfort taking on additional authorised-person responsibilities such as Legionella, Asbestos, Confined Space, or Working at Height (training provided where required).
