Key Responsibilities

  • •Integrate and operationalize fit-for-purpose Earth Observation services to meet end-user needs.
  • •Manage delivery of services using analytics, AI/ML techniques, and Big Data architectures in an EO context.
  • •Define and maintain technical requirements specifications for Software Systems supporting EO data processing and exploitation.
  • •Oversee implementation of cloud-based or HPC-enabled data services and monitor scalability and performance.
  • •Act as primary stakeholder interface, translating requirements, coordinating with industrial partners and ESA, and resolving operational or technical bottlenecks to meet milestones.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in engineering, data science, earth sciences, or a related discipline.
  • •Significant experience delivering EO data services or AI/ML applications in related fields.
  • •Proven experience enabling cloud-based or HPC-enabled data services.
  • •Expertise in Remote Sensing and Big Data architectures in an EO context, including exploitation and analysis platforms.
  • •Strong technical requirements specification experience for software systems and demonstrated stakeholder management for gathering user requirements.
