  • •Hire, train, and grow a team of Solutions Architects for the Startups segment of Field Engineering.
  • •Maintain a robust pipeline by hiring and developing highly qualified candidates that raise the bar.
  • •Partner with Sales and other Field Engineering technical segments to increase revenue and help customers succeed with the Data Intelligence Platform.
  • •Keep the team’s technical knowledge advanced and ensure continuous learning on Databricks’ technology stack.
  • •Establish relationships across the business and with external systems integrators (SIs) and independent software vendors (ISVs) to accelerate client success.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and mentoring.
  • •10+ years of experience in the data space with technical product experience in areas like data warehousing, big data, machine learning, or generative AI.
  • •Ability to guide technical qualification, technical validations, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations as part of a technical pre-sales process.
  • •Strong understanding of consumption-driven business models and what drives long-term growth and success.
  • •Must be technical enough to earn the trust of engineering leadership and influence complex architectures toward scalable solutions.
