Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and oversee the investment subledger, including security accounting, valuation, posting logic, and system process configuration.
  • •Execute and review monthly close and investment reporting, delivering monthly and quarterly reports to internal stakeholders and auditors.
  • •Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, perform advanced reviews, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
  • •Apply IFRS, US Statutory (NAIC), US GAAP, and US Tax knowledge to analyse instrument behavior, validate results, and resolve audit queries.
  • •Lead improvements in reporting quality and internal controls, and drive digitalization/automation using Power BI, Power Automate, Python, and AI agents; coach associates.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Investment Accounting or Finance, or 7–10+ years with a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • •Proven, practical knowledge of US GAAP, US Statutory, and US Tax accounting principles applied in real reporting cycles.
  • •In-depth understanding of investment products including fixed income, equities, structured products, private debt, and alternative assets.
  • •Ability to take ownership under pressure, solve complex problems, and communicate complex information clearly.
  • •Use IFRS and US accounting/tax knowledge to analyse instrument behavior, validate results, and resolve audit or reporting queries.
