Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and process aviation safety permits for aerial events, UAS operations, pyrotechnics, laser shows, and balloon launches.
  • •Ensure compliance with Executive Council Resolution No. (4) of 2017 and relevant aviation safety legislation, including operator verification before permit issuance.
  • •Validate safety plans, risk assessment forms, and operational documentation; ensure approvals and NOCs are complete and compliant.
  • •Maintain accurate regulatory records, monitor approved operational activities, and record incidents, deviations, and regulatory violations.
  • •Support enforcement actions and preliminary investigations, coordinate with the Operations Room and security agencies during sensitive operations, and contribute to regulatory guidance and digital permitting workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, airspace regulation, aviation operations, aeronautical studies, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in aviation compliance, permitting, or regulatory operations (or 6 years with a master’s degree).
  • •Experience processing aviation-safety permits and approvals, and maintaining operational-safety databases and compliance records.
  • •Experience coordinating with security agencies, event organizers, and aviation stakeholders.
  • •Experience supporting regulatory enforcement or safety investigations is preferred.
