Job Summary

Join Raytheon Vision Systems as a Wafer Process Engineer in Goleta, supporting semiconductor wafer processing and vacuum/photolithography operations. Lead process development projects, own vacuum/coating/etch tools, and collaborate across Product, Systems, Quality, and Equipment Engineering to improve yield, throughput, and safety in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage process development and improvement projects, including novel processing techniques, yield increases, throughput enhancements, and safety improvements.
•Review material in WIP, certify operators, disposition out-of-flow material, and perform hands-on processing of novel detector designs.
•Provide Process Ownership of vacuum coating tools, etch tools, or lithography tools.
•Develop requirements and qualification plans for new equipment procurements.
•Work in a cleanroom environment with full coverall garments.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
•Experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering in Semiconductor, Optics, Electro-Optics and/or Microelectronics environments.
•Familiarity with vacuum or photolithography technologies used in semiconductor fabrication.
•Experience with vacuum coating tools, etch tools, or lithography tools and related semiconductor process equipment.
•Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams (Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality, Mechanical Design Engineering, Factory Management) and project management capabilities.
