Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform electrical design and design review for production equipment and facility power at the Solid Rocket Motor plant in McHenry, MS.
  • •Apply and maintain internal electrical standards, drawing conventions, and code compliance across the facility.
  • •Review and red-line contractor and integrator electrical packages, including panel layouts, single-line diagrams, and load calculations.
  • •Specify electrical equipment for new and modified production lines, and coordinate power distribution, branch circuits, grounding, and equipment hookup with internal teams and outside firms.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • •4+ years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial or production environment.
  • •Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices.
  • •Experience with industrial power distribution including transformers, panelboards, circuit protection, and grounding.
  • •Experience producing and reviewing electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN, plus electrical troubleshooting up to 600VAC.
