Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate boiler system, ammonia refrigeration system, air compressors, and wastewater treatment system.
  • •Follow written and verbal procedures to meet company and governmental regulations.
  • •Read, record, and interpret data from gauges, computer programs, and measurement equipment; enter and retrieve information from computer systems.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic mechanical repairs on associated systems (fans, pumps, valves, motors).
  • •Troubleshoot mechanically and electrically using schematics; maintain/clean equipment and area and perform water testing for wastewater, boiler, and refrigeration systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing; or 4 years’ direct maintenance experience.
  • •Ability to work with or without supervision.
  • •Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Ability to effectively utilize measuring equipment and read/record data.
  • •Must have the Omaha 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer’s License and be able to meet physical requirements of a HAZMAT Technician.
