Key Responsibilities

•Design and manage structural engineering projects in a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering environment.
•Responsible for analysis/review of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
•Delivery of projects following a modern BIM workflow; operate Revit models and cloud base platforms.
•Demonstrate a good understanding of structural element estimates, practical construction methods and economic considerations; able to prepare paperless structural schemes.
•Responsible for leading small design teams.

Key Requirements

•BSc Eng/BEng/BSc (Hons) in Structural Engineering; MEng/MSc advantageous
•7+ years’ experience mainly in structural engineering
•Registered as PrEng with ECSA
•Proficiency in BIM software packages (e.g. Revit, CAD); Prokon design software; Finite Element design software (SAFE, ETABS, Robot)
•Proficiency in simple programming (e.g. MS Excel) and visual programming (Rhino & Grasshopper) is advantageous; ability to travel
