Job Summary

Oversee operations for a designated Patient Service Center (PSC), managing Natera’s phlebotomy program at the New Port Richey location. Perform venipunctures and finger sticks while ensuring specimen integrity, quality control logging, and compliance with HIPAA/PHI privacy. Coordinate test order resolution with clinical teams, manage scheduling and vendor support, and help onboard and retrain phlebotomists as volume grows.

Key Responsibilities

•Verify test requisitions and patient identification; resolve unusual test orders by coordinating with physicians, pathologists, nursing stations, and reference labs.
•Obtain blood specimens via venipunctures and finger sticks while maintaining specimen integrity using aseptic and isolation procedures.
•Track specimens and maintain quality results by recording outcomes in quality-control logs and reporting KPI changes biweekly.
•Manage PSC operations including scheduling, draw status communication, phlebotomy program administration, and vendor coordination.
•Oversee equipment and compliance, report SPI/CAPA/NCR issues, support onboarding/training of phlebotomists, and maintain required training status.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.

•5+ years of high-level customer care experience.
•Experience managing/supervising phlebotomy operations and teams is preferred.
•High school diploma (or equivalent) is required; BS/BA and previous financial/budgetary experience are preferred.
