  • •Embed with marketing and learning teams to understand the end-to-end content workflow and identify friction points, including AI experiments people are already running.
  • •Own the AI content operations product roadmap, including deciding what to build, buy, or stop.
  • •Ship AI-powered tools that shorten the path from idea to published content (e.g., metadata generation, doc-to-CMS conversion, content review/quality checks, research assistants, and asset generation).
  • •Build functional prototypes independently to validate ideas and refine requirements before full engineering investment.
  • •Drive adoption by ensuring shipped tools meaningfully change daily workflows, and make smart build-vs-buy decisions while partnering with the Sanity platform team.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep familiarity with modern content team workflows (content calendars, brief-to-publish, review/approval, SEO, localization touchpoints, asset management).
  • •Strong opinions about where AI fits in real content operations workflows and where it doesn’t, based on learning from teams closest to the work.
  • •Technical foundation in headless CMS architecture, with Sanity experience as a strong plus.
  • •Comfort building prototypes and simple web apps independently using Node.js and TypeScript with modern web frameworks.
  • •Practical experience integrating LLMs into real workflows, including comfort using AI development tools like Claude Code or Cursor and working with model APIs underneath them.
