Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the recognised SME for Malaysia payroll implementations.
  • •Lead payroll discovery workshops and advise customers on legislation and best practice.
  • •Challenge inefficient legacy processes and recommend scalable, compliant solutions.
  • •Work with Product and Engineering to validate payroll configuration, and lead payroll testing, parallel runs, and validation.
  • •Support go-live readiness and first payroll; advise Sales/Presales on Malaysia payroll requirements, and own Malaysia implementation playbooks and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience processing and implementing Malaysia payroll.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience operating Malaysia payroll in-house and with leading Malaysia payroll engines (ideally Cadena).
  • •Expert knowledge of Malaysia payroll legislation, tax, social insurance, and statutory reporting.
  • •Strong stakeholder management and customer consulting skills.
  • •Fluency in English and Malay (written and spoken), with the legal right to work in Malaysia; must be based in Malaysia.
