Key Responsibilities

  • •Under supervision, learn to read blueprints and use gauges/equipment to make and rework header and secondary tooling.
  • •Prepare header tooling/set-ups to die prints to meet quality and productivity requirements.
  • •Read manufacturing and tooling blueprints and select tools to meet print tolerances.
  • •Maintain backup tooling, keep work areas clean, and follow safety guidelines and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • •Follow ISO/IATF16949 and SPC procedures, use toolroom inspection equipment, and assist with tooling improvements and documentation updates as needed.
