Job Summary

Lead weekend production operations for the Drys department, ensuring safe, compliant manufacturing of chemical products. Operate semi-automated and automated equipment, weigh and measure raw materials, perform in-process testing, and maintain batch, SOP, and work instruction records. Support production scheduling, review and recommend updates to technical documentation, and train associates while maintaining controlled-environment safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely perform manufacturing and assembly of products according to written production records and safety guidelines.
•Assist with production scheduling.
•Review and recommend changes to technical documentation, including batch records, work instructions (WIs), and SOPs.
•Operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment and maintain proper production records to comply with requirements (including ISO 9001:2000).
•Train associates and evaluate progress on equipment and chemical process operation, including safety procedures and proper handling of materials.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in a life science or engineering discipline preferred.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment, with general understanding of semi-automated and/or automated equipment.
•Knowledge of computer applications is desirable.
•Ability to evaluate internal customer needs and respond with appropriate action/delivery.
