Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Payments Risk Oversight team by applying payments control SME knowledge and adherence to the Group Risk Framework.
  • •Proactively monitor and improve the health of MSS Operations Payments Risk Oversight, including implementation and operation of payments controls.
  • •Define and oversee relevant payments controls across MSS Operations; review existing controls and enhance, develop, or replace where necessary.
  • •Establish and facilitate seamless monthly governance forums across Markets and Security Services, bringing accountability to Control Owners and senior leaders.
  • •Deliver the MSS Operations NFR Book of Work to improve the risk and control landscape across the MSS payments environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Good working knowledge and appreciation for risk management across strategies, capabilities, and governance.
  • •Strong knowledge of the external environment, including regulatory and competitive factors.
  • •Ideally, end-to-end experience in MSS Operations products and flows including payments (10 years+).
  • •Experience or potential in leading a multi-discipline function on a global basis.
  • •Proven ability to work across multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environments and articulate complex issues clearly.
