Job Summary

Drive fundraising and relationship efforts to accelerate the adoption of investment solutions and grow private wealth in Japan. Lead fundraising activities through teach-in sessions and client seminars for distributors, and partner with distributors’ marketing/sales teams to plan promotions that support persistent growth across the product lifecycle. Collaborate with members of the global Private Wealth (PWS) group across Blackstone funds and other internal groups to support adoption and growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive fundraising efforts and manage relationships with distributors and asset management sub-advisory partners in Japan.
•Lead fundraising activities via teach-in sessions and client seminars for distributors (in-person at branches or via online).
•Develop strategic promotion planning with distributors’ marketing/sales teams and asset management companies to support ongoing growth of clients’ assets.
•Serve as a key interface with members of the firm’s global Private Wealth (PWS) group across Blackstone investment funds.
•Coordinate cross-functional activities with marketing/sales teams to accelerate adoption of Blackstone investment solutions and grow the private wealth business in Japan.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•7+ years of relevant work experience.
•Hands-on asset management industry experience in Japan, with existing networks with distributors or sub-advisory partners preferred.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English, with strong presentation skills for distributors and end-clients.
•Relevant local financial product sales licenses (if not, must be obtained after joining).
