Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, development, and delivery of PLC and SCADA systems for municipal and industrial infrastructure projects.
  • •Independently program, test, and commission control systems in live plant environments.
  • •Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, including scheduled and unscheduled service support.
  • •Develop control narratives, technical specifications, and system documentation supporting safe and reliable operations.
  • •Configure and deploy SCADA/HMI platforms and design/support industrial OT networks enabling secure data flow between PLCs, SCADA, and enterprise systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated hands-on PLC programming experience with Rockwell Automation platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix) or experience with Emerson RX3i, Schneider Modicon (M340/M580), or GE Fanuc.
  • •Expert-level experience configuring and supporting iFix and AVEVA; experience with VTScada and/or Ignition, ClearSCADA, Survalent, or Geo SCADA is valuable.
  • •Proven implementation and troubleshooting experience with industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, Modbus RTU/TCP, EtherNet/IP, Profibus, or Foundation Fieldbus.
  • •Practical experience in system commissioning, startup support, and operator assistance.
  • •Strong understanding of industrial networking, including Ethernet (copper/fibre), segmentation, and firewalls; ability to produce system and networking documentation.
