Job Summary

Build and evolve high-impact moderation and safety features for Reddit’s communities. Partner with product, design, and engineering to execute on technical and business strategy across the full development lifecycle—design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. Review code and design docs, provide feedback on specs and mocks, and continuously improve both technical and non-technical skills in a fully remote environment within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to deliver product and business strategy and build moderation-related features.
•Own the full development cycle from technical design through development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
•Review code and design docs and provide feedback on product specs and mocks.
•Continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities.
•Work effectively in a fully remote environment to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Requirements

•2-5 years of software development industry experience in an enterprise environment.
•BS degree in Computer Science (or a similar technical field) or equivalent practical experience.
•Proficiency with Go or Python (required), plus Rust and/or Ruby.
•Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC basics and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs.
•Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
