Experienced PMC Engineering Manager needed to lead Wood’s engineering department for a high-profile ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi. Drive technical execution, alignment with budget and schedule, and ensure compliance with codes and HSE. Lead FEED contractor collaboration, mentor engineers, and advance design optimization across on-site oil and gas capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage all engineering aspects of the Project to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule. Provide leadership to the Engineering Department and the FEED Engineering Contractor.
•Ensure adequate technical expertise is available to perform reviews of deliverables and pursue economical design optimization while ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and HSE guidelines.
•Coordinate and interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, and contractors/consultants to resolve technical issues and maintain project integrity.
•Oversee the development of ADNOC engineering staff assigned to the Project, and mentor junior engineers.
•Oversee design optimization and validation, sponsor layout, 3D modeling, HAZID/PHA reviews, and ensure quality in various design options and business models

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent
•Master’s degree in management or equivalent
•Minimum 20+ years’ experience in oil & gas with broad exposure to engineering, procurement and construction of major projects, including 10+ years as an Engineering Manager
•Must have delivered at least one project involving onshore pipelines in the GCC
•Experience in recruiting and developing technical staff
