Key Responsibilities

  • •Own avionics engineering for safety-critical systems as primary avionics architect or development responsible.
  • •Drive end-to-end engineering activities including requirements analysis, subsystem requirements, process tailoring, risk analysis, implementation, verification, and validation.
  • •Apply expertise in functional verification and other key avionics fields such as software engineering, simulation, or mission analysis.
  • •Ensure development aligns with relevant engineering processes and industry standards (e.g., ECSS).
  • •Manage complex work packages with multiple stakeholders, coordinate subcontractors, and support proposal activities including technical trades and cost estimations.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Systems, Software, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering, or closely related technical field.
  • •Business-fluent English is required; good working proficiency in German is highly desirable.

  • •Assertive, clear, and effective communication to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
  • •Willingness to travel as needed to support project deliverables and partner meetings.
