Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the technical development and production of construction documentation through all project phases.
  • •Work with Architectural Discipline Leads to ensure design intent is maintained during all stages of document production.
  • •Assist in development and refinement of construction details focusing on constructability, durability, and building science principles.
  • •Review construction documentation packages for technical accuracy and conformance with local building standards and codes.
  • •Coordinate with internal disciplines and external sub-consultants to ensure document consistency across drawings and specifications; support contract administration activities as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 75,000 - 105,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •HS + six (6) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Extensive familiarity with the Ontario Building Code and National Building Code; familiarity with the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings is asset
  • •Extensive proficiency with Revit and BIM workflows, AutoCAD, and MS Office (Word, Excel); Bluebeam Revu Studio proficiency asset
  • •Extensive technical knowledge of building systems, construction detailing and sequencing, and building science principles
  • •University degree or College diploma in Architecture with 7-10 years of relevant experience with complex building types (preferred)
