Lead a team of technicians in the electrical facilities maintenance of SpaceX Hawthorne production facilities. Own infrastructure work, supervise projects with vendors, enforce safety and OSHA/NFPA standards, and drive a preventative maintenance program in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to minimize interruptions and maintain high reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coordinate and supervise a team responsible for facilities electrical construction and maintenance at the Hawthorne Production Facilities; ensure zero unplanned interruptions in services to employees and customers.
•Coordinate electrical projects to ensure vendors meet SpaceX and local standards while delivering services and craftsmanship.
•Plan and direct electrical construction and maintenance activities of internal technicians and subcontractors for each phase of construction.
•Enforce contract expectations from subcontractors and communicate discrepancies.
•Maintain a safe work site by implementing safety requirements, OSHA and applicable regulations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate; 5+ years of supervisory and/or electrical experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting; Experience maintaining/troubleshooting plant electrical distribution systems including 3-phase motor controls and 480V AC systems; Hold a valid Certified General Electrician certificate issued by the State of California and/or a C-10 Electrical Contractor License (preferred); Knowledge of engineering drawings and calculations; Proficient with Microsoft Office and PDF editors (Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat) and safety practices (NFPA 70-E).
