Job Summary

Lead an IT engineering team focused on delivering digital products that improve reliability and profitability for the airline. Partner with business and IT leadership to execute the technical vision, drive roadmap progress, and ensure stakeholder communication. Create self-governing delivery teams aligned to Scrum and Agile, remove roadblocks and impediments, manage staffing and budgeting, and oversee adoption and migration of new technologies while enabling technical upskilling across the org.

•Collaborate with Business and IT leadership to execute the technical vision, drive roadmap progress, and manage technical product management and stakeholder communications.
•Create and support self-governing delivery teams, removing roadblocks/squad impediments and facilitating engineer check-ins and sprint deliverables.
•Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, including hiring, performance reviews, and staffing strategy aligned to Scrum and Agile.
•Manage technology adoption and migration, promote upskilling, and handle budget management/forecasting as well as production issues and off-hours support when needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience/training).
•5 years of experience participating in delivery of solutions using ITIL, Agile, XP, or similar methodologies.
•3 years of experience leading product teams.
•Proven track record leading engineering initiatives that generate substantial value.
•Strong technical leadership with extensive experience in an Agile methodology-style leadership environment.
