Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement, monitor, and maintain the Air Arabia Safety Management System (SMS) in operational areas.
  • •Manage mandatory and voluntary safety reports, ensuring investigations and closure reports are timely and accurate per regulations and internal procedures.
  • •Review and revise ABY and FSTD SMS manuals/policies and distribute approved updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Maintain safety risk tracking by checking safety reports daily, updating the risk register, and coordinating IQSMS actions with operational departments until closure.
  • •Facilitate safety meetings (SAG, SRB, SPM), run MOC/SRA processes, and support audits/inspections (including GCAA, internal, IOSA) until findings are closed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in organizational/risk management or an equivalent qualification.
  • •Must have completed Safety Management Systems (SMS) training and Safety Investigation training.
  • •Minimum 5 years of airline/aviation experience, including at least 3 years in a safety department in a similar capacity.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • •Strong report writing skills and fluent English; able to design and deliver SMS training programs.
