Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and optimization of cybersecurity systems and data pipelines with senior guidance.
  • •Onboard and validate security telemetry into SIEM platforms, including normalization (e.g., CIM/ECS/UDM) and data quality assurance (completeness, consistency, timestamps).
  • •Develop, tune, and validate detection rules in SIEM platforms, including mapping detections to MITRE ATT&CK and reducing false positives.
  • •Support SIEM platform configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization by monitoring ingestion/processing failures and improving data/query efficiency.
  • •Assist with SOAR playbooks and automation, integration between SIEM and endpoint/cloud systems, and support security architecture review documentation and findings.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma + 5 years of experience or BS/BA + 2 years of experience.
  • •2–5 years of experience in security operations, SIEM engineering, or related fields.
  • •Hands-on experience with at least one SIEM platform and exposure to detection engineering or SOC workflows.
  • •Experience working with log data and security telemetry, including troubleshooting across multiple systems.
