Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of standards and/or cloud vendor product selections for infrastructure towers in coordination with engineering and network teams.
  • •Develop and implement cloud automation strategies for deploying and operating cloud infrastructure.
  • •Oversee DevOps automation, including setup/configuration of CI/CD processes for digital factory products.
  • •Configure and provision next generation IT and physical stacks in a private cloud environment, including rack-level design.
  • •Improve cloud reliability and availability using fault-tolerant tools, and provide guidance to less experienced cloud developers (Span of control: 0; individual contributor).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 6 years (or associate degree with 8 years, or high school diploma/GED with 10 years) in the technology field, including 4 years applying cloud initiatives with agile DevOps methodologies.
  • •Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and cloud economics, including consumption-driven TCO.
  • •Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and distributed systems.
  • •Expertise applying Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to deploy resilient cloud infrastructure, including Terraform and Azure IaC tools (ARM, Bicep).
  • •Experience designing and implementing highly available cloud infrastructure, including cross-Availability Zone and cross-region implementations.
