Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and coordinate crusher plant equipment activities to provide reliable production equipment and exceed targets.
  • •Implement operating procedures, guidelines, systems, and processes for crushing/conveying equipment to maximize production and minimize costs.
  • •Oversee day-to-day maintenance of crusher and conveying circuits and ensure utilization and compliance with operating procedures.
  • •Investigate equipment-related safety and environmental incidents, implement actions, and prioritize plant housekeeping efforts.
  • •Issue daily mechanical instructions to shift teams and approve work requests; develop and coordinate weekly, short-term, and long-term maintenance plans with maintenance planners and supervisors.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years’ experience in crusher plant maintenance.
  • •5+ years’ experience at a supervisory level.
  • •Significant experience in large, complex base metals processing plant(s), including maintenance of jaw crushers, cone crushers, and screens (preferred).
  • •Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, with qualifications certified by ZAQA and eligibility for Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) membership and legal appointment under Zambian Mining Regulations.
  • •English fluency and ability to analyse metallurgical & equipment information and produce clear performance reports.
