Job Summary

Join the engineering team to drive innovation and efficiency in a fast-paced food manufacturing plant. You’ll manage capital projects, develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance and TPM, and lead maintenance staff to reduce downtime and keep production flowing. You’ll troubleshoot operational issues, analyze equipment failures, and build KPI tracking for equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness, ensuring safe, compliant, high-performing operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Take ownership of capital projects from concept to completion, managing scheduling to meet safety, food safety, environmental, time, and budget requirements.
•Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance systems and TPM to maximize task completion and minimize downtime.
•Lead and manage the maintenance team by delegating tasks, enforcing policies, and guiding work assignments while maintaining safety and compliance.
•Troubleshoot and conduct problem analysis for equipment failures, delivering short-term fixes and long-term solutions to reduce recurring issues.
•Develop and track KPIs for maintenance performance, including equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field plus 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
•2+ years of demonstrated experience managing/developing teams or leading projects.
•Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields (e.g., PLCs and instrumentation) in a large manufacturing environment.
•Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, and TPM.
•Ability to use exposure monitoring equipment and interpret/communicate results; proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
