Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, commission, configure, and maintain virtualized environments for the Samsung NFV platform and orchestration solutions.
  • •Deploy and configure OpenStack and Kubernetes-based CaaS environments, including OpenShift and Windriver Titanium, plus related CNCF PaaS toolsets.
  • •Create test cases, test plans, execute feature/performance/inter-operability testing, and document results in lab and customer labs.
  • •Provide Tier 2/3 support by troubleshooting virtualization and orchestration application issues, proposing workarounds, and delivering RCA with R&D involvement (sometimes 24x7).
  • •Coordinate with support organizations and cross-functional SEA and Samsung R&D teams to meet customer commitments and support new product roll-outs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS/TE (Master’s beneficial).
  • •Experience with virtualization technologies in a highly technical environment, including Linux scripting/command-line proficiency.
  • •Hands-on experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes (cloud-native concepts preferred).
  • •Thorough understanding of virtualization internals such as CPU pinning, NUMA, guest isolation, and SR-IOV.
