Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and improve security detection mechanisms and automation frameworks used by the Security Operations Center.
  • •Partner with owners of high-risk systems and services to identify and prioritize detection gaps.
  • •Investigate anomalous or suspicious behavior identified through the detection engineering process.
  • •Participate in adversary emulation activities to identify detection gaps.
  • •Develop tooling and data delivery mechanisms to address visibility gaps and improve resilience of internal detection tooling.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in security engineering, computer science, cyber security, engineering, math, or a STEM discipline, or 2+ years of professional experience in incident response, security operations, or security engineering in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience with modern programming languages (Python, Go, C++, Rust or similar).
  • •Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • •Fully onsite role; remote or hybrid work is not considered.
