Key Responsibilities

  • •Stand up the obligation register, including sourcing FAR/DFARS flowdowns into a tracked register with cadence and owners.
  • •Establish and run the monthly POA&M process and obligation calendar with named owners and escalation paths.
  • •Complete and score NIST 800-171 self-assessments, stage SPRS packages for affirmation, and ensure dated POA&M entries for gaps.
  • •Produce control-to-evidence mappings and assemble certification application materials with machine-readable packages.
  • •Own corporate CUI system security planning (distinct from product SSP), run continuous monitoring/log retention, and prepare FCL readiness materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Direct experience submitting in federal portals, SPRS and PIEE, with hands-on accountability for outcomes.
  • •Run a NIST 800-171 self-assessment or RMF package end to end, owning the process from start to finish.
  • •Compute and maintain SPRS, including understanding the 110-control basis, weighting, and how POA&M entries affect scores.
  • •Hands-on experience with NIST 800-53 Rev 5 inside a real SSP, including what control implementation statements must communicate to pass an assessor.
  • •Be current on FedRAMP (including 20x), Key Security Indicators, machine-readable packages, and continuous validation. Experience stopping at Rev 5 documentation must adapt to the 20x model.
