Key Responsibilities

•Project detailed engineering, designs and calculations using standard methodology & principles including all phases such as scoping and budgeting, conceptual engineering, engineering design, construction, and closeout.
•Maintain, & understand drawings (e.g., schematics, one-line diagrams, etc.).
•Develop & specify equipment, assemble documents & other requirements for assignments of projects using depth & breadth of expertise in own discipline.
•Ensure all engineering designs implemented by the company meet applicable company, local, state, and national codes, and standards.
•Oversee engineering studies to evaluate equipment and protection system performance and effectiveness and analyze operational issues in support of system reliability and operational efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 128,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
•10+ years relevant experience required.
•Expert knowledge of all aspects of engineering & design, national and international standards, and compliance requirements associated with power system protection.
•Knowledge of Substations Protection and Control design is a must.
•Knowledge of the regulatory environment including relevant output and incentive mechanisms.
