Job Summary

Prepare rack elevations and support new device installations in the data center, including rack/stack governance, power and cable connectivity, and device inventory management. Use server and networking expertise to analyze hardware failures trends and hardware uptime, coordinate with vendors/OEMs, and handle device movement, redeployment, and disposal of EOL assets. Perform backup/restore workflows with LTO media and manage tickets/SLA, working rotational 24x7 shifts.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare rack elevation and support new device installation in the data center.
•Ensure rack/stack governance and manage power and cable connectivity for server/network equipment.
•Perform hardware uptime and hardware failure trend analysis and maintain hardware/device inventory management.
•Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for network/server equipment and fiber cabling for tech rooms.
•Handle device movement, redeployment, EOL asset disposal, and manage tickets/SLA, including LTO tape backup and restore.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an authorized university.
•Minimum 2-3 years of experience for L1 or 3-5 years for L2.
•Good written and verbal communication skills.
•Basic understanding of the ITIL framework (SLA, CHG, Problem, and incident management).
•Knowledge of ticketing tools (preferably ServiceNow) and willingness to work rotational 24*7 shifts.
