Job Summary

Support the BDUK Engineering function for the Vertical Lift business unit, coordinating engineering activities across the UK Rotary Wing Enterprise program. Plan and execute engineering SOWs to meet quality, schedule, and budget targets, track milestones and performance using metrics, and manage engineering resource allocation. Assess baseline performance, oversee risks/issues/opportunities (RIOs), coordinate scope changes through CCBs, and drive engineering continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide engineering coordination to multi-disciplined engineering functions supporting the UK Rotary Wing Enterprise (RWE) programme.
•Develop and coordinate execution of RWE core programme and Additional Tasking engineering SOWs to quality, schedule, and budget targets.
•Plan, identify, and coordinate engineering resource allocation with functional leaders.
•Compare actual results to baseline plans to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned.
•Manage engineering risks, issues, and opportunities (RIOs) and coordinate engineering SOW scope change impacts through Change Control Boards (CCBs).

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Eligibility for UK SC Security Clearance (ability to obtain necessary clearance).
•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
•Working knowledge of Programme Management and Systems Engineering Best Practices.
•Demonstrable ability to coordinate teams, manage conflict, and foster a positive, collaborative working culture.
•5+ years of experience supporting military aircraft sustainment services and/or aircraft modification programmes from an engineering perspective (preferred).
