Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and coordinate detailed maintenance schedules for drill equipment to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
  • •Ensure maintenance work packages (work instructions, inspection, and test plans) follow OEM specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • •Maintain live service sheets with the reliability team to detect/prevent failure modes; support troubleshooting using the Triggered Actions Response plan for extended breakdowns.
  • •Oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance scope, quality, and timelines; ensure statutory inspections and maintenance records/log books are up to date.
  • •Create and manage the maintenance budget, monitor expenditure vs. budget, perform root-cause analysis for major failures, and coordinate spare parts procurement with procurement and supply chain teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance coordination roles, preferably in mining or heavy industrial sectors.
  • •Experience with drill maintenance, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • •Proven experience with budget management and cost control in maintenance operations.
  • •Diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, plus a recognized qualification in reliability, maintenance planning, or quality control.
  • •Valid driver’s license and membership with a relevant engineering institution (EIZ).
