Key Responsibilities

  • •Design structured cabling systems for copper and fiber, including defining cable pathways/containment and redundant entry paths.
  • •Specify rack elevations and passive components such as ODFs and patch panels.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations throughout the design process.
  • •Develop drawings, technical specifications, and bills of quantities for ICT infrastructure designs.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architecture, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, security, and operations) to integrate security, building automation, energy/power management, and audiovisual systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent demonstrated experience/education).
  • •Strong written and spoken English skills for communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • •Professional experience/proficiency with ICT design software including Revit, AutoCAD, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft 365.
  • •5+ years of ICT infrastructure design experience, and working knowledge of the AIA design process is desirable.
  • •Proficiency with codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ANSI/TIA cabling standards and ISO/IEC standards) and current BICSI RCDD or other active BICSI certification is preferred.
