•Lead current- and future-state process mapping and workflow redesign across People initiatives to eliminate friction and accelerate execution.
•Diagnose root causes by distinguishing whether bottlenecks stem from process flaws, systems limitations, or change management gaps.
•Establish scalable standards, including documentation, handoffs, and governance frameworks to reduce variability as Wealthsimple scales.
•Translate business challenges into technical requirements by partnering with People Systems and evaluating AI agents, LLM tools, or Workday workflows for ROI.
•Define and track metrics (cycle time, throughput, error rates, cost savings) and build post-launch dashboards to ensure adoption and measurable impact.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR transformation, process excellence, management consulting, or related work in complex, scaling organizations, with a track record of redesigning cross-functional processes.
•Strong working knowledge of Workday, including its data model, workflows, and capabilities, sufficient to translate process needs into Workday-based solutions and requirements.
•Practical fluency with AI tools and agentic workflows, including prompting, tool/function calling, and system integration to prototype and scope production handoffs.
•Strong systems-thinking capability to connect strategy, operations, employee experience, data, and technology into actionable recommendations.
•Strong facilitation and written communication skills to run workshops and translate operational complexity into requirements and stakeholder narratives.
