Key Responsibilities

  • •Teach, mentor, and steward WGU’s mission while providing expertise in assigned content areas for prelicensure clinical courses.
  • •Foster student learning using innovative teaching practices and provide instruction for challenging experiential/clinical work.
  • •Conduct student evaluation using both in-person and remote methods, and provide final review and approval for clinical time.
  • •Communicate with students and collaborate with the assigned coach/preceptor and other university professionals to discuss progress, needs, and referrals.
  • •Submit electronic clinical evaluation forms and respond with urgency to changing requirements, priorities, and short deadlines.
